The paradise in Engadin

Ftan – this small hideaway is neither easy to spell nor yet very well known.

The small and exclusive hotel was once the home of artist Walter Bayer, whose paintings are mostly inspired by the atmospheric natural surroundings. Nowadays, guest can enjoy the distinctive landscape as well as tranquillity and exquisite food – “slowdown” seems to be the right motto for Ftan. The small hotel accommodates 23 rooms and suites and offers tree restaurants – from a rustic farmhouse offering „Schnitzel“ and Co. to „La Cucagna“ with themed menus and finally „La Bellezza“ – the gourmet´s paradise. Combining excellent cuisine (prepared by star chef Martin Göschel) with distinctive tranquillity (if you meet just one person while skiing, walking or climbing the mountains, it’s already pretty much), this place comes close to paradise!
